What are the known limitations of the QuickBooks integration?

QuickBooks does not have the concept of subscriptions. By following the suggestions in the previous FAQ questions the integration can be mostly automated - though from time to time there may be transactions that require manual entry. That said, the integration will likely never be 100% automated like our integrations are to other subscription based billing platforms. Because QuickBooks does not have the concept of subscriptions, when a customer subscription churns it requires the user to either enter the cancellation of the subscription in SaaSync or to use our auto-cancellation feature (learn more).

When sending QuickBooks data to ChartMogul, we strongly recommend setting your churn recognition setting in ChartMogul to When the subscription ends in your billing system (default). This allows us to properly set the churn date that the billing system provides. This is a global setting and will affect all data sources.
