SaaSync supports enabling two-factor authentication via an app like 1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, etc.
It's recommended to secure your account using two-factor authentication because it adds a second layer of protection beyond just your password.
How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication
- Login to your SaaSync account
- Click on Settings on the Navigation bar to the left
- Scroll down to the Two-Factor Authentication section
- Click Enroll to being the process
- It will then ask you to confirm your password
- Once you have confirmed your password, you will then be presented with a QR Code which you can scan with your camera, or a code you can enter into your authentication app.
- Once you have set up your two-factor authentication in your authentication app, you will need to confirm the current code it gives you.
- If successful, you should see a notification letting you know it has been enabled.
How to Disable Two-Factor Authentication
- Login to your SaaSync account
- Click on Settings on the Navigation bar to the left
- Scroll down to the Two-Factor Authentication section
- Click on the Disable button
- You will be prompted to enter in your current Password and the current One Time Passcode
- Once you have confirmed both, you will receive a notification that it is no longer enabled on your account.
What if I lost access to my two-factor authentication code?
If you have two-factor authentication enabled for your account and no longer have access to the one-time passcodes please Submit a Request to SaaSync support.
