Getting Started and Authenticating with Shopify Partners

Note: Completing this authentication requires Shopify Owner level of access.

Shopify Partners is a Source that SaaSync supports in syncing to a Destination. To get started syncing Shopify Partners to a Destination:

1. Create a SaaSync account or login to SaaSync if you already have an account,

2. From the SaaSync Connections page, add Shopify Partners as a Source,

3. Enter a name in the Name field,
   
   

4. Login to your Shopify Partners account.

5. Find your Shopify Partners App ID and Partners ID which can be found by navigating to Apps > All apps and then select the app that you want to connect.  After selecting it, in the URL you will find the two IDs.

6. Copy and paste the two IDs from the URL into the respective fields in SaaSync.

7. We now need to populate the Access Token.  You can generate an Access Token by logging into the Partner Dashboard, then go to Settings, scroll down and click on Manage Partner API Clients under the Partner API clients section.

Then click on Create API client in the upper righthand corner.

First, give it a name, like “SaaSync” and then select both “Manage apps” and “View financials” then finally, click Save in the upper right hand corner.  When prompted with the dialog box to confirm, click on Create API Client.

Once saved, you can click the Copy button next to the “Access token” and paste that as the Access Token in SaaSync.

Note: If you are connecting multiple apps, you can use the same Access Token generated for all of them.

8. Go back to SaaSync, select Connect to Shopify Partners.  The initial sync will begin.

This should complete the setup process for this sync.  It may take a few minutes to possibly even several hours for your initial sync to complete depending upon how much data you have in Shopify Partners.
